Who We Are

Goshen has been a pillar in the Chicago community for nearly twenty-five years. Our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ with loving and open hearts. We strive to be a congregation of people who are passionate and focused on being true followers of Christ.

Our Vision Statement

Goshen is a church that values diversity and believes in loving frequent fellowship using small groups. Where members care for one another, study the Bible and pray together regularly and where everyone is involved in ministry that transforms lives.

What to Expect

Services on Saturday (Sabbath)

We have two worship services on Saturdays to meet your spiritual needs.

9:30 am Sabbath School for Adults and Children
Sabbath School offers an intimate, small-group setting to learn what the Bible says, discuss the Bible with others and hear different points of view regarding questions posed in the study guide, the Sabbath School Quarterly. Sabbath School is held in the sanctuary for adults and for children in our children's ministry area. All Children’s Sabbath School instructors have undergone training and background checks. Sabbath School ends at 10:50 am.

11:15 am Divine Worship Experience
Our Worship Service which includes prayer, readings, fellowship, praise and worship, and the Word of God. This Spirit-filled service is great for those seeking a deeper worship experience and those who prefer a service with a later start. This service ends about 2:15 pm.

What to Wear

Come as you are. Although you will see lots of dresses and suits at Goshen, you may see some in jeans and sneakers. So feel comfortable in whatever you wear during worship.

Fellowship Lunch

Join us for a delicious fellowship lunch, held in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the 11am service ends. Come & fellowship with us as we talk, eat and get to know one another better! Lunch is served each and every Sabbath!

Services on Wednesdays

We have a mid-week service on Wednesday to meet your spiritual needs. Service begins each week at 7:00pm.

Our “Mid-Week Prayer Huddle” is an interactive, Wednesday service that includes testimonies and prayer requests, study of the Bible, and prayer. It is designed to teach you Biblical principles and how to apply them to everyday situations you face. The service ends about 8:15 pm.

Our Leadership Team

The staff and leadership here at Goshen is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. If you have any questions for any of our staff, feel free to reach out and email them or call our church office to speak with them.
